I recently celebrated Passover in the US for the first time ever.
It was an entirely different experience for me. I had a great dinner with some of my Israeli and Jewish friends. We played Israeli music that we missed hearing and missed home together.
It didn’t necessarily being me closer to Judaism. It brought me closer to my friends, my country and my culture of having a big dinner with the people who are close to me, which made me feel like I am home.
